Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 24, 2026

Groupe Immobilier Optima (“Optima”, “we”) takes the protection of personal information seriously. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and when you contact us, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and what your rights are. It is prepared in accordance with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Quebec), as amended by Law 25, and, where applicable, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.

01

Information we collect

We collect only the information needed for the purposes described below.

  • Information you provide: when you call or write to us, your name, contact details (email, phone) and any information you choose to share, such as a property address and basic operating details. This website has no data-collection form.
  • Technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records technical connection data, including IP address, browser type, pages requested, and the date and time of visits.
  • Cookies: this website uses a single functional cookie that remembers your language choice (French or English). It is not used for advertising or to track your browsing. As of the date of this policy, we do not use analytics tools or advertising cookies.
02

Why we use this information

We use the information we collect only to:

  • respond to your inquiries and assess a management mandate or the scope of a diagnostic;
  • provide our services and communicate with you about them;
  • operate, secure and improve this website; and
  • comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for solicitation without your consent.

03

Consent

By voluntarily providing us with personal information, you consent to its use for the purposes described in this policy. You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions, by contacting us using the details below. Withdrawing consent may limit our ability to respond to your request.

04

Sharing with third parties

We share your personal information only with service providers that help us operate this website and our business (for example, website hosting and email), to the extent necessary for their functions, or where required by law.

Some of these providers may process or store information outside Quebec, including in the United States. In that case, we take reasonable steps to ensure the information receives adequate protection.

05

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes for which it was collected, unless the law requires or permits longer retention. It is then destroyed or anonymized.

06

Security

We apply reasonable security measures, appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, to protect it against unauthorized access, use, disclosure or loss. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify the affected individuals and the Commission d’accès à l’information, as required by law.

07

Your rights

Subject to the exceptions provided by law, you may:

  • request access to the personal information we hold about you;
  • request correction of information that is inaccurate, incomplete or equivocal;
  • withdraw your consent to the use or disclosure of your information; and
  • ask us to cease disseminating your information or to de-index any link giving access to it, where the law permits.

We respond to every request within 30 days. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may also file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

08

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version in force is always the one published on this website, with its last-updated date.
